JOIN US FOR LEMONADE DAY 2026!

Kids! Are you ready to run your own business and have fun at the same time?

REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1ST EVERY YEAR!

Lemonade Day is a free, exciting program designed for youth to learn how to run their own business—a lemonade stand! Sign up your young entrepreneurs for Lemonade Day! They will learn essential skills, collaborate with local businesses, earn money, contribute to the community, and participate in many other enjoyable activities.

If your child is in kindergarten or older, they are ready for this wonderful adventure!

How Lemonade Day Works:

STEP 1:

Caring Adults register youth for Lemonade Day

STEP 2:

Youth attend Lemonade University. At Lemmy U, participants get a backpack with a Lemonade Day workbook or access to the My Lemonade Day App to help set goals for their stand. Instructors guide them in choosing partners, selecting locations, designing stands, developing recipes, practicing food safety, advertising, and budgeting.

STEP 3:

Your youth will build a Lemonade Stand, perfect their recipe, find a local business location, and apply lessons from Lemonade University.

Joining Lemonade Day allows participants to partner with local businesses to "rent" a location for their Lemonade Stand. This enables youth to set up in busy areas, attracting more customers to their business.

STEP 4:

On Lemonade Day - June 13, 2026 all participating youth across Northern Alberta will set up Lemonade Stands and run their businesses for the day. Young entrepreneurs keep all their profits! However the program encourages them to practice the principles: spend some, save some, and share some.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CAN WIN PRIZES!

Youth that participate in Lemonade Day have the opportunity to WIN PRIZES for - Area Best Entrepreneur, Area Best Tasting Lemonade, Area Best Lemonade Stand and Regional Entrepreneur of the Year. Plus when they complete the program and submit their final business results they get automatically entered in a draw to WIN a NEW BIKE!
